Citigroup's brand, according to plan.
Icon helped with program planning, working with Citigroup's marketing, facility management and
procurement departments to define the issues, make decisions and develop a budget. We
completed site audits and developed reports that outlined challenges and alternative ways to
address them, taking into account local codes and landlord requirements--while balancing
architectural constraints with the objectives of the rebranding. We worked closely with the design
firm, Lippincott & Margulies, to do extensive prototyping, both of individual signs and of complete
sites, to test different solutions.
Icon managed planning, scheduling and implementation, including manufacturing and
installation, of a large portion of the program, more than 270 locations domestically. And, during
the project, the customer added 80 European American Bank (EAB) locations in the United States
without adjusting the target date for completion. We did what we do best: We managed change.
Icon provided seamlessly integrated services from start to finish, ensuring satisfactory
completion at each site, including removals and wall repair wherever needed.
Citigroup achieved its goal: a controlled, steady rollout of the program, with key locations
implemented first and the remaining sites completed as local permit and landlord issues were
resolved.
