For over two decades, Kurt has been a driving force in building Icon. His diverse roles have included program management, ATM development, ATM-division management, national sales, sales management, and member of the senior executive staff. As Executive Vice President, he pioneered major account growth, consumer and product strategies, and business plan development. Kurt was named President of the company in 2007 and added CEO to his responsibilities in 2010. In this role, he provides the leadership and direction necessary for the on-going growth and stability of Icon clients, employees, and shareholders.
Kurt graduated from Loyola University in Chicago.
Tom’s tenure at Icon has touched every area of operations including line manufacturing installation and program management. As an Executive Team member he has overseen Manufacturing, Program Management and is currently the Executive Vice President of Operations. His contributions to Icon’s processes and methodology have yielded great increases in the company’s efficiencies including Lean manufacturing tools, manufacturing cost reductions, improved procurement and comprehensive plant scheduling. Tom’s commitment to continuous improvement is consistently adding value for our clients.
Tom earned his BA from Florida State University.
John has been with Icon since 1993. His experience and focus on corporate finance spans 25 years. Before joining Icon, John spent 13 years with Federal Signal Corporation, holding financial management positions at several division locations. He also worked as an accountant with Sunbeam Appliance Company.
John earned his MBA from DePaul University in Chicago and holds a BS in accounting from Western Illinois University. He is a CPA and a CMA.
Melanee brings to Icon almost three decades of leadership and organizational development experience in the sign & maintenance industry. Her career includes financial and strategic development. Melanee focuses on creating and implementing strategic alignment between organizational goals and leadership actions. The results of her initiatives are mission specific, financially productive and personnel supportive. Melanee has an extensive history of creating healthy work environments. At Icon she is responsible for all Program Management services.
Melanee has served on the Board of Directors for International Sign Association, as Vice President of Texas Sign Association and Member Coordinator for Division 5, World Sign Association.
Evan’s focus is leadership and engineering in the sign and automotive industries. He has worked on projects ranging from national branding rollouts to robotic manufacturing cells. Evan’s experiences in Six Sigma, Lean processing principles and his analytical approach to problem solving are keys to Icon’s outstanding Certified Contractor Program.
Evan managed Icon’s engineering, graphic design, estimating and purchasing departments as the Vice President of Engineering before assuming leadership of the Vendor Management Department. Before joining Icon, Evan worked as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at BorgWarner Automotive.
Evan holds an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University.
Kevin is the driving force behind planning and implementing sales and marketing strategies across all of Icon’s service offerings. As SVP, Kevin leads the company’s effort in driving market leadership, demand generation and business development. Kevin brings over 25 years of sales and sales management experience Icon; working for companies such as American Utility Management, MicroTek, GTE and Savvis.
Kevin holds a BBA from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin.
